Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —  The First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Norkulov, held a meeting with a delegation led by Emin Hisarciklioglu, a member of the board of directors of the Turkish consortium Hisarciklioglu Group.

The meeting was attended by Esen Caglar, managing partner for economic development and special strategies at the Policy Analytics Lab think tank (Turkey), Shukhrat Matkarimov, deputy director of the Department of International Relations at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Shahobiddin Sharipov, head of the Department for Coordination of Regional Master Plan Development, and other responsible representatives.

During the discussions, the parties talked about cooperation in developing strategies for regional development aimed at improving infrastructure, ensuring the resilience of urban environments, and incorporating modern architectural solutions in the creation of new projects.

Additionally, the parties exchanged views on ongoing efforts to develop and implement master plans, taking into account the unique needs of each region.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to further develop and strengthen mutual cooperation on the discussed issues.
