Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Journalists and bloggers visited Gulsaroy Street during a press tour in Tashkent to learn about the landscaping and improvement works carried out there. The Tashkent city administration reported this.

The 1.6-kilometer street is being transformed into a modern tourist and gastronomic area.

Pedestrian paths, green spaces and an irrigation system have been installed, along with 58 lighting poles and 46 benches. An additional 1.5 kilometers of concrete fencing has also been installed.

During the press tour, participants spoke with residents and entrepreneurs to learn what amenities the changes had created for them. Specialists presented the completed project and further plans for developing the area.

According to the city administration, the opportunity to see the changes on site and hear the views of local residents was one of the most significant parts of the press tour. After visiting Gulsaroy Street, the participants proceeded to the next stop on the route.
