Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and South Korea exchanged a package of bilateral documents in Seoul following talks between Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung.

The ceremony was attended by Mirziyoyev and Lee Jae Myung.

The package is aimed at further developing and deepening Uzbek-Korean partnership in trade and economic relations, investment, humanitarian cooperation and other areas.

The sides formalised agreements on cooperation in transport and aviation, agriculture and tourism, artificial intelligence and technical assistance.

Separate documents provide for cooperation in higher, school and preschool education, regulation of medical products, environmental protection and combating climate change.

The package also includes documents covering intellectual property protection, archival affairs and other areas of bilateral cooperation.
