Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — An open dialogue was organized for Uzbek officials and entrepreneurs as part of a visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. This was reported in materials related to the visit.
The meeting focused on Egypt’s advanced experience in agriculture, which is being studied during the trip.
Particular attention was paid to Egypt’s practices in developing desert and new lands, introducing modern irrigation technologies, developing livestock farming, establishing a feed base, as well as growing and processing agricultural products.
Entrepreneurs shared their impressions of what they had seen, the technologies they had studied and the new business contacts established with Egyptian companies during the visit. They also asked officials questions of interest to them and put forward practical proposals.
The dialogue addressed the adaptation of the experience being studied to Uzbekistan’s conditions, the transformation of new partnerships into concrete projects, as well as technology transfer and the implementation of joint initiatives.
The visit to Egypt is continuing. Its main objective is to study the country’s experience and identify solutions that can be applied in practice in Uzbekistan.
