Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to expand pharmaceutical cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan intend to expand cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry. Uzbekistan’s Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry and Kyrgyzstan’s state enterprise Kyrgyzpharmatsiya have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document provides for the development of pharmaceutical and cosmetics production and the expansion of investment and trade ties between the two countries.
Under the agreements reached, the sides also plan to exchange experience in scientific research and innovative developments, organize seminars and educational programs for specialists, and develop joint projects.
The memorandum was signed by Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, and Akilbek Turatbek uulu, Director of the state enterprise Kyrgyzpharmatsiya.
The agreements are aimed at further developing cooperation between the two countries in the pharmaceutical sector and implementing joint initiatives.
