Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with Cemil Kazanci, chairman of the board of Turkish company Aksa Enerji, on 16 October. The meeting took place during the first meeting of the Investors Council in the fuel and energy sector.

The sides discussed opportunities to expand cooperation, with particular attention to Aksa Enerji’s participation in projects to develop and modernise Uzbekistan’s energy sector.

Following the talks, they agreed to accelerate work on specific joint projects.
