Davis Cup: Uzbekistan loses to Switzerland

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Switzerland clinched a 3-2 victory over Uzbekistan in the World Group play offs of Davis Cup.

Uzbekistan was losing with the score 2-1 to Switzerland before Sunday rubbers.

Denis Istomin defeated Henri Laaksonen in four sets 6:7, 7:6, 7:6 and 7:5 to level the score in the tie.

Jurabek Karimov lost to Antoine Bellier in four sets with the score 6:2, 6:4, 6:7 and 6:3. Switzerland won the tie with the score 3-2.
