About 5,000 Tourists from Uzbekistan Visited Malaysia in First Half of 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Between January and June 2025, around 5,000 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Malaysia for tourism purposes, according to the National Statistics Committee.

This figure represents an increase of nearly 1,000 people, or 26.4%, compared to the same period last year.

Of all Uzbek citizens who visited Malaysia, 4,220 traveled for tourism, 478 visited relatives, 185 went on business trips, 93 pursued studies, and 5 sought medical treatment.
