Uzbekistan’s Tourism Businesses Increase by 24.3%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The number of operating tour operators, travel agents and other businesses in Uzbekistan’s tourism sector reached 3,455 as of 1 July 2026.

The figure increased by 676 businesses, or 24.3%, compared with the same period a year earlier, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Statistical data show that the number of businesses in the tourism sector has continued to grow. There were 1,918 in 2022, 2,071 in 2023, 2,585 in 2024 and 2,779 in 2025.

Thus, between 1 July 2022 and 1 July 2026, the number of operating businesses in the tourism sector increased by 1,537, from 1,918 to 3,455.

The largest increase during the period was recorded in 2026, when the number of businesses rose by 676 compared with July 2025.
