Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Trading House of Uzbekistan has opened in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Uzcharmsanoat association and its member enterprises.
At the opening ceremony, it was noted that bilateral investment cooperation is a promising area for both countries. In Azerbaijan, demand for products from Uzbekistan is growing, and there are joint ventures based on capital from the two countries.
The head of the Trading House, Ramin Sherifov, emphasized that under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, favorable conditions for investment and entrepreneurship have been created in Uzbekistan. Samples of products from various industries, such as textiles, chemistry, construction and many others, were presented at the Trade House of Uzbekistan.
Enterprises that are members of the Uzcharmsanoat association, such as KFK and Amir-ul-Baxr, negotiated and reached preliminary agreements on the supply of specialized footwear for the industrial, construction and defense sectors of Azerbaijan through newly created trading house in this country.
The trading house not only promotes Uzbek products on the Azerbaijani market, but also attracts investment from Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to Uzbekistan. Azerbaijani businessmen have already begun implementing projects in various industries in Uzbekistan.
