Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A fault in the water station serving the hemodialysis department at Yangiyul District Medical Association is being repaired, delaying the facility’s commissioning, the Tashkent Region Health Department reported.

According to the department, the necessary funding to launch the station is available. Specialists are currently reconfiguring the software of the central control unit. The equipment is expected to be commissioned once the work is complete.

The department also said that the 68 patients mentioned in social media posts are receiving hemodialysis treatment on schedule at the department in the city of Almalyk and at the Tashkent Regional Branch of the Republican Scientific Centre for Emergency Medical Care.

The situation is being monitored by the leadership of the regional health department.
