World Bank Raises Uzbekistan’s Economic Growth Forecast for 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The World Bank has revised its economic growth forecast for Uzbekistan upward for 2025.

According to the latest Global Economic Prospects report, Uzbekistan's GDP growth in 2024 is expected to reach 6.5%, outperforming the January projection of 6%.

For 2025, the World Bank now anticipates economic growth of 5.9%, slightly higher than the earlier forecast of 5.8% released at the beginning of the year.

The projection for 2026 remains unchanged, with GDP growth expected at 5.9%.

Additionally, the World Bank has issued its first-ever forecast for 2027, projecting Uzbekistan’s economy to grow by 5.8%.
