Uzum Invests More Than US$500 Million in Digital Infrastructure

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzum ecosystem announced that it has invested more than US$500 million in the development of Uzbekistan's digital and logistics infrastructure.

The company also stated its intention to direct several hundred million dollars more over the next few years toward further infrastructure expansion.

According to the company, Uzum Market partners use the largest logistics complex for e-commerce in the country. In 2026–2028, Uzum plans to significantly increase its logistics capacity both in Tashkent and in the regions.

The company has already begun implementing a project for a sorting center and a warehouse complex for large-sized goods. Following the infrastructure expansion, Uzum Market expects to increase its throughput capacity to 600,000 items per day and create 26,000 pallet spaces for storing large-sized products, including furniture, household appliances, and other goods.

In addition to the central logistics hub, the company continues to develop its regional infrastructure. Currently, nine cross-docking warehouses located in Samarkand, Ferghana, Jizzakh, Karshi, Namangan, Navoiy, Bukhara, Urgench, and Termez are available to partners.

The company noted that the investments in digital and logistics infrastructure are aimed at the long-term development of the country's economy, creating conditions for entrepreneurs to scale their businesses, and expanding access for residents of Uzbekistan to goods across the entire republic.
