President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Lays Wreath at Victory Monument in Minsk

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Upon his arrival in Minsk as part of an official visit, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid a wreath at the Victory Monument.

During the ceremony, the state anthems of Uzbekistan and Belarus were performed by a military band. This was followed by a solemn march of the guard of honor company.

The main events of the official visit are scheduled for 9 July 2026. At the Palace of Independence, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Belarus will hold high-level negotiations.
