UAE-Based Uzbek Businessman Donates Equipment to Colleges
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek entrepreneur Ulugbekhon Maksumov, who conducts business operations in the United Arab Emirates, has delivered modern educational and practical equipment to technical colleges in Uzbekistan as charitable assistance. The Dunyo news agency reported the initiative.
The project was implemented with the assistance of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Dubai. Prior to the transfer of the equipment, officials reviewed the material and technical conditions alongside the specific needs of professional educational institutions across the republic.
Following this assessment, the INKAS company provided 20 computers, 10 printers, five sewing machines, and five spot welding machines free of charge.
Technical colleges No. 1 and No. 2 of the Kattakurgan district in the Samarkand region received 10 computers and five printers each.
Technical college No. 1 of the Vabkent district in the Bukhara region received the five sewing machines and five spot welding machines.
According to the organizers, the charitable aid aims to strengthen the material and technical base of the colleges, improve the quality of practical training for students, develop the professional skills of young people, and increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
