Saida Mirziyoyeva Holds Talks with US Trade Representative

The Head of the Administration expressed deep satisfaction with the opportunity to continue the bilateral dialogue with the high-ranking American diplomat directly in the capital of Uzbekistan, noting the positive continuity in the development of interstate contacts.

During the talks, the parties highly appreciated the dynamics of partnership ties over the past year. The large-scale joint work carried out has allowed the Uzbek-US relations to be brought to a qualitatively new, higher level of strategic interaction. According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, the intensive dialogue between Tashkent and Washington contributes to the formation of a solid regulatory, legal, and commercial framework for expanding the presence of American businesses in the republic's market.

The main practical result of the meeting was the announcement that the preparation of a major package of bilateral documents has reached its final stage. In the near future, official agencies of the two states expect the signing of a strategic agreement on mutual trade and mutual promotion of investments.
