Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Russian courts issued rulings in October 2026 ordering the payment of a total of 1,519,786 rubles to eight Uzbek citizens in unpaid wages and compensation.

Their labour rights were protected with the assistance of the representative office of Uzbekistan’s Migration Agency in Russia.

The recovered funds include unpaid wages, compensation for delayed payments and damages for moral harm. Favourable rulings were issued in eight cases involving violations of the labour rights of Uzbek citizens by their employers.

The Migration Agency urged citizens working abroad to seek assistance if their labour rights are violated or their wages are not paid.

The agency can be contacted by phone at +998 71 202 33 55 or via the short number 1282. Requests are also accepted through the Telegram bot @huquqiy_yordam_uzbot.
