Bakhtiyor Saidov Addresses Dubrovnik Forum in Croatia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov, has participated in the prestigious Dubrovnik Forum held in Croatia.

The head of the Uzbek foreign policy agency arrived at the international summit following an official invitation from the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Gordan Grlić-Radman. The forum has traditionally served as a key interstate platform for strengthening reliable partnerships and developing consolidated approaches to overcoming pressing contemporary challenges.

The latest session of the Dubrovnik Forum took on particular significance due to its overarching theme: "The Age of Multipolarity: Many Directions, One Future."

The focus of the large-scale event was centered on the most acute problems of global development. International delegates, experts, and diplomats held a series of discussions dedicated to ensuring energy security, the growing competition for access to critical raw materials, combating the negative consequences of climate change, and the scale of artificial intelligence's impact on the global economy and geopolitics.

The Uzbek side took an active stance in the substantive portion of the summit. Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov was invited as a keynote speaker for a specialized panel session entirely dedicated to the mechanisms of ensuring and maintaining international energy security.

Following the visit, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan expressed his gratitude to the Croatian partners for the high level of dialogue organization and confirmed that this platform makes a significant practical contribution to the joint search for effective solutions to stabilize global processes.
