Uzbektelecom reduces tariffs for Internet channel for operators

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektelecom reduced tariffs for Internet channel for mobile and fixed-line operators, as well as providers of Uzbekistan from 176,682 soums to 169,065 soums per 1 Mbps with unlimited traffic.

According to the company, Mr. Shukhrat Kadirov, general director of Uzbektelecom, signed a decision to reduce tariffs.

The company reminded that the tariffs were lowered for the second time in a month. The previous decrease in prices was on 19 July. Then the cost of tariffs decreased from 244,958 soums to 176,682 soums for 1 Mbps. Thus, the overall decline in prices was 31%.

Uzbektelecom noted that each mobile operator and provider independently set prices for the services provided to the end users.
