Khusanov Supports Cameraman After World Cup Collision

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdukodir Khusanov, a defender of the Uzbekistan national football team, has expressed support for a television broadcast cameraman who was injured in a collision during Uzbekistan’s debut match at the FIFA World Cup against Colombia on 18 June.

The incident occurred during an in-game moment when Khusanov collided with the cameraman positioned along the sideline while contesting the ball.

Information about the condition of the broadcast staff member was received after the match. A signed shirt from the Uzbek player was also given to him.

Khusanov wished the cameraman a speedy recovery and sent words of support.

The match against Colombia was the first appearance for the Uzbekistan national team at a FIFA World Cup.
