Uzbekistan, Tajikistan agree volume of gas supplies in 2010

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Tajikistan agreed the volume of gas supplies in 2010. This year, Uzbekistan will supply 250 million cubic meters of gas.

As earlier reported, Tajikistan was planning to purchase 400 million cubic meters of gas from Uzbekistan in 2010. But request of Uzbekistan on pre-payment and fine for arrears pushed Tajikistan to cut the purchase volume.

In line with the agreement, the price of gas will depend on world prices for energy resources.
