Uzbekistan Discusses Development of New Multimodal Transport Corridor

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — At a meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriev, discussions were held on the development of cargo transportation along a new multimodal transport corridor.

During the talks, the parties reached an agreement on coordinating joint projects aimed at expanding international transport routes passing through the territories of each participating country.

It should be recalled that in November 2023, within the framework of the first SCO Transport Forum in Tashkent, a memorandum of understanding was signed on the creation and development of an international transport corridor linking Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
