Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Competition Committee will analyze the sale of coal, cement and flour through exchange trading.
As part of the analysis, specialists will examine price dynamics for the products, their sales volumes through the exchange, and purchase volumes by region.
Particular attention will be paid to compliance with established requirements for the sale of products on the domestic market. Coal products must be sold on the domestic market exclusively through exchange trading.
Cement producers are also required to sell a specified portion of their output on the domestic market exclusively through the exchange.
Separate requirements apply to flour producers that purchase wheat from state resources through exchange trading. They are required to sell a specified volume of flour and bran through the exchange.
The main objective of the analysis will be to assess compliance with market principles in exchange trading, transparency in product sales and price formation processes.
The committee will also examine sales and purchase indicators by region, which will help assess the situation on the exchange market for these types of products.
