Uzbekistan and Norway Discuss Migration and Training
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 April, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev held talks with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Uzbekistan, Helen Sand Andresen.
During the meeting, the sides discussed consular and legal issues, as well as cooperation in the field of migration.
Special attention was given to the development of a contractual and legal framework for cooperation, the establishment of joint training centres, and the involvement of Norwegian specialists in workforce training in Uzbekistan.
The parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation and confirmed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue.
