Ferghana to Produce Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Production of electric vehicle charging devices is planned in Ferghana with the participation of Chinese company Teglong, following a preliminary agreement reached during a working visit by an Uzbek delegation to China.

The delegation, led by Avazbek Temirov, head of the Ferghana Regional Department of Uzenergoinspektsiya, includes representatives of the Ferghana city khokimiyat and local entrepreneurs. During the visit, the delegation is visiting major enterprises in China and holding talks to expand investment cooperation.

In a meeting with Teglong Director Bai Jiang, the parties discussed establishing the production of electric vehicle charging units in Ferghana adapted to local conditions. The prospect of exporting finished products to neighboring countries was also considered.

Following the negotiations, the sides reached preliminary agreements on implementing the project.

The cooperation is expected to contribute to the development of modern industry and increase the level of production localization in the Ferghana Region.
