Uzbekistan Textile Output Up 10.1% in First Half of 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced textile products worth 54.4 trillion soums in January–June 2026.
Compared with the same period last year, production volume increased by 10.1%, while textile exports rose by 24.1% to US$1.6 billion, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Finished textile products accounted for the main share of textile exports at 53% of the total volume.
The share of yarn in the export structure stood at 31%, knitted fabrics at 9%, and woven fabrics at 5%.
Hosiery products and carpets each accounted for 1%.
Thus, finished textile products and yarn combined accounted for 84% of Uzbekistan's textile exports in the first six months of 2026.
