Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Indonesia’s Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon.

During the talks, both sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening the traditional bonds of friendship, rooted in shared religious, cultural, and historical values.

"We deeply appreciate Minister Zon's extensive knowledge of Uzbekistan. Our countries are united by strong historical and cultural ties, and we are committed to their further development," Saidov stated on his Telegram channel.

The parties exchanged views on the significance of preserving, studying, and promoting their shared cultural heritage, with particular attention given to potential joint projects and programs in this sphere. Discussions included initiatives aimed at showcasing the historical and spiritual richness of both nations.

The meeting took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere, reaffirming Uzbekistan and Indonesia’s commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation in cultural and humanitarian fields.
