Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uztextileprom Association held talks with representatives of China’s Xinjiang Yinlong International Agricultural Cooperation Co., Ltd. to discuss cooperation in Uzbekistan’s textile industry.
The parties explored opportunities to expand trade ties, attract investment and implement joint projects in the country’s textile sector.
During the meeting, the Chinese company expressed interest in importing Uzbek-made products, establishing operations in Uzbekistan and developing joint manufacturing initiatives.
Representatives of the Chinese company were also invited to consider investing in existing enterprises that have temporarily suspended operations. Such investment could help restart production and improve the utilisation of existing manufacturing capacity.
The participants discussed further steps to assess investment opportunities and prepare potential projects.
The meeting was part of broader efforts to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, including in textile manufacturing.
