Uzbek President congratulates Tomislav Nikolic

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has congratulated Tomislav Nikolic with his election to the post of the President of Serbia.

Serb nationalist Tomislav Nikolic upset the odds to defeat incumbent Boris Tadic in a presidential run-off Sunday.

Nikolic led with 50.21% votes while Tadic trailed at 46.77%, according to the latest data.
