Uzbek FM receives Ambassador of Ireland
Ambassador handed over his credentials addressed to the President of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on actual aspects of the Uzbek-Irish cooperation, some international and regional issues.
Both sides underlined that their interest in gradual development of cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, deepening mutual beneficial cooperation within international organizations, first of all within the UN and its agencies.
The sides noted that it is necessary to expand agreement-legal base of bilateral relations.
At the meeting, the sides also considered other issues, representing mutual interests.
