Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan registered four candidates to the post of the President of Uzbekistan from the parties and election campaign kicked off.

Total number of voters makes up 21.435 million people, and half of them or 10,825 million are women.

Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan formed 9,378 polling stations, including 44 at diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in foreign states.

The briefing participants were informed about organization of the presidential elections in Uzbekistan and conditions, created for candidates and voters.

It was noted that representatives of CIS Executive Committee, SCO, OIC, OSCE ODIHR and other organizations, as well as over 40 states will observe elections in Uzbekistan.
