Three companies fined in Uzbekistan for illegal foreign employment practices
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Three companies in Uzbekistan — WORLDVISA, Everyone Consult, and Adworld Group — have been fined for illegal activities related to foreign employment, reported the Agency for External Labor Migration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to a resolution from the Cabinet of Ministers fromm 22 April 2025, No. 252, the Agency for Migration is the only authorized body to organize employment for Uzbek citizens abroad. Under the "Private Employment Agencies" Law, such activities can only be carried out by licensed agencies approved by the Migration Agency.
However, there has been a recent increase in the number of companies, lacking proper licenses, that disguise themselves as consulting or information services while engaging in illegal foreign employment. During inspections, it was found that these companies had advertised their employment services on social media, charged citizens for these services, but did not deliver the promised results.
As a result of these violations, fines were imposed on the companies. The Agency reminded citizens that using the services of unlicensed organizations presents significant financial and legal risks.
In this regard, the Agency urged citizens to only turn to officially registered and licensed private employment agencies.
