TEXNOPARK and Shanghai Mitsubishi Expand Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — TEXNOPARK and China’s Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co., Ltd. have discussed expanding cooperation, including the possible establishment of escalator production in Uzbekistan, following meetings held in Shanghai from May 25 to 27.

During the talks, the parties reviewed prospects for launching production at TEXNOPARK’s facilities. The company is currently the only manufacturer of escalators in Central Asia, with an annual production capacity of 500 units.

Particular attention was given to the implementation of the LNK system used in Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator equipment. The technology provides intelligent elevator monitoring and management through cloud-based solutions.

The parties also discussed further steps to strengthen industrial and technological cooperation between TEXNOPARK and one of the world's leading elevator equipment manufacturers.
