Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and Türkiye plan to expand cooperation in training agricultural specialists and introducing modern agricultural technologies, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan.
A meeting was held at the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Agricultural Personnel with representatives of Turkish company TAYSEN GIDA TARIM HAYV. TUR. MAK. SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ.
The meeting was attended by Umut Efendi, Abidan Kılıç and Uğur Erilmaz.
The sides discussed professional development for specialists in growing mushrooms, strawberries, tomatoes and cucumbers in greenhouse conditions, as well as horticulture. Particular attention was paid to studying modern cultivation technologies and applying international experience in practice.
The participants also considered the possibility of organising specialised professional development courses, practical seminars, master classes and experience-sharing programmes.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue cooperation in improving the practical knowledge and skills of agricultural specialists, mastering modern agricultural technologies and introducing advanced Turkish experience in Uzbekistan.
The cooperation is expected to contribute to expanding the institute’s international ties and training agricultural specialists with modern professional knowledge and practical skills.
