Tashkent Begins Redevelopment of Section of Katartal Street

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Redevelopment work has begun on a section of Katartal Street in Tashkent's Chilanzar district as part of a project to create a modern public space focused on tourism, the district administration's press service said.

Saidkakhkhor Kholkhujayev, governor of Chilanzar district, inspected the construction and renovation works. During the visit, particular attention was paid to the quality of the work, compliance with urban planning requirements and the new design code.

According to the district administration, the project will focus on creating a comfortable urban environment for residents and visitors to the capital.
