Spark driver hits scooter rider in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A driver of a Chevrolet Spark hit a scooter rider on Amir Temur Street in Tashkent, driving into the oncoming lane.

According to information, the driver of the car was chasing a scooter rider. He overtook cars stopped at a red light in the bus lane, crossed all traffic lanes, drove into the oncoming lane and caught up with the scooter driver. As a result, the scooter rider fell.

The traffic police department of the Tashkent police department reported that a 34-year-old Spark driver collided with a scooter driven by a 24-year-old young man.

The scooter rider was injured and was taken to hospital.

The traffic police noted that an investigation into this incident has been launched.
