Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan finished first in the overall medal standings at the Asian Junior Judo Championships in Jordan, the National Olympic Committee's press service said.
On the second day of competition, Uzbek judokas won five gold, two silver and one bronze medal.
The Uzbek junior team concluded the championships with a total of 20 medals — 11 gold, four silver and five bronze. The result secured first place in the final medal standings.
From today, youth competitions are getting underway in Amman.
