Uzbekistan Housing Prices Rise 4% Year-on-Year
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Residential property prices in Uzbekistan rose by 1.3% in the second quarter of 2026 compared with the previous quarter and were up 4% from the same period a year earlier, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Apartment prices increased by 5.5% over the past 12 months. The strongest growth was recorded in the primary market, where prices rose by 7.1%, while prices in the secondary market increased by 4.2%.
Prices for individual residential houses rose by 2% year-on-year.
In Tashkent, apartment prices increased by 3.9% over the past 12 months, while the average increase across the rest of the country was 7%.
The National Statistics Committee also said that, starting from the second quarter of 2026, housing price indices are being calculated using an updated methodology based on the hedonic regression approach. According to the committee, the method provides a more accurate assessment of market trends by taking into account property characteristics such as floor area, location, number of storeys and other housing attributes.
