Uzbek Officer Killed in Line of Duty Laid to Rest

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A funeral ceremony was held in Kokand for Traffic Safety Service officer Ozodbek Kuldoshaliev, who was killed while on duty in a road accident in Tashkent on 16 July 2026.

As previously reported, the accident occurred on Dormon Yo'li Street in Tashkent's Mirzo-Ulugbek District. Lieutenant Ozodbek Madiyorjon ugli Kuldoshaliev, commander of the motorcycle unit of the Traffic Patrol Service brigade's special battalion, was killed when a Traffic Patrol Service motorcycle collided with a Chevrolet Onix. He was 29.

The funeral took place on 17 July 2026 in Kokand, Ferghana Region.

The leadership of the Traffic Safety Service, the command of the Traffic Patrol Service brigade and fellow officers extended their condolences to Kuldoshaliev's family and relatives.
