Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Starting from 28 June, train service on the above-ground circular metro line in Tashkent will be temporarily suspended between the “Kuruuvchilar” and “Yangiabad” stations, according to the press service of the Tashkent Metro.
The restriction is due to the next phase of scheduled maintenance works aimed at ensuring transportation safety and improving service quality on the new sections of the metro line. Repair and restoration work will be carried out between the “Technopark” and “Kipchak” stations and is expected to last for approximately three months.
During the suspension period, a free high-capacity shuttle bus service (metro buses) will operate along the route “Kipchak – Yangiabad – Kipchak.” The buses will run daily from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
