SCO Deputy Secretary-General holds negotiations at Uzbekistan’s MFA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Mahmadsharif Haqdodov paid a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 22 December.

Mahmadsharif Haqdodov headed a mission of the SCO observers at the parliamentary elections, which were held on 21 December 2014.

Haqdodov briefed the Uzbek officials on official statement of the SCO mission. The document said that the elections in Uzbekistan were held in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan and international commitments of the country, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The sides also exchanged opinion on actual issues related to the activities of the SCO.
