Tashkent Apartment Fire Extinguished, No Casualties Reported

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Emergency crews extinguished a fire on the exterior of a multi-story residential building in Tashkent's Yakkasaray district on Friday morning, with no casualties reported and all occupants safely evacuated before flames were brought under control.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations said the alert came in at 10:21 a.m. on June 13, reporting a facade fire at a residential building on Nukus Street. Rescue units reached the scene within two minutes, arriving at 10:23 a.m. and immediately commencing firefighting operations.

Residents were evacuated to a safe zone as soon as the fire broke out. The blaze was contained by 11:00 a.m. and fully extinguished ten minutes later, marking a total response-to-suppression window of under forty minutes.

Authorities said the situation remained under full control of emergency services throughout the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
