President Islam Karimov to pay state visit to India

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17-18 May 2011, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will pay a state visit to India at the invitation of President of India Pratibha Patil.

During the visit, the issues of expansion of Uzbek-Indian cooperation, problems of regional and international issues of mutual interest will be discussed, UzA reported.

Following the talks, the sides plan to sign several bilateral documents aimed at deepening cooperation in various fields.
