Uzbekneftegaz: all measures are being taken to supply gasoline to gas stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A video posted on a social network on the illegal sale of gasoline from hands was studied by a working group created by Uzbekneftegaz.

As a result of the studies, it was revealed that this case on video occurred on 20 December 2022 at the private enterprise "DAEWOO" in Shurchinsky district of Surkhandarya region. This gas station is private and does not belong to the oil depots run by Uzbekneftegaz.

It should be noted that on 20 January 2023, only 6,490 tons of AI-80 gasoline were issued to consumers through the oil depots of the company. In particular, 395 tons to the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 2196 tons to Tashkent city and Tashkent region, 441 tons to Andijan, 581 tons to Bukhara, 251 tons to Jizzakh, 312 tons to Kashkadarya, 377 tons to Navoi, 400 tons to Namangan, 432 tons to Samarkand, 381 tons to Surkhandarya, 219 tons to Syrdarya, 256 tons to Fergana and 249 tons to Khorezm region. This was reported by the press service of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz".

According to the head of a private gas station, when selling AI-80 gasoline at a reduced price based on the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 12 December 2022 PP-440, about ten citizens tried to purchase gasoline in a plastic container at the gas station. However, they were explained that, in accordance with the established procedures, it is impossible to sell gasoline in plastic containers.

At present, in Surkhandarya region, together with the relevant departments, control over the sale of gasoline is carried out, the duty of the internal affairs bodies and the tax authorities responsible for the sale of fuel at all gas stations has been organized.
