The first batch of Uzbek dried fruits arrives in Singapore

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first batch of dried fruits in the amount of US$30,700 arrived in Singapore in early October and was then sent to the Sheng Siong retail chain, Dunyo news agency reports citing information from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in this country.
In order to support the export of Uzbek products to Singapore, the Embassy of Uzbekistan assisted in concluding a contract between the Uzbek company Global Export Company LLC and the Singapore company Century Global Pte. Ltd. for the shipment of Uzbek dried fruits in the amount of US$1 million.
Century Global Pte Ltd was established in 2002. Its main area of activity is wholesale export-import operations. The company is currently active in the markets of Asia, Oceania, Europe, Africa, North and South America.
Sheng Siong Supermarket Pte Ltd is owned by Sheng Siong Group Ltd., which has more than 60 supermarkets.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Singapore is also negotiating with the company "NOROO HOLDINGS" on the import of fresh and dried fruit and vegetable products (grapes, pomegranates, persimmons, tomatoes, legumes and others) and other popular consumer goods of Uzbek production.
