A delegation of Ministry of Preschool Education discusses the prospects of cooperation in the organization of children nutrition
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of a visit to the Russian Federation to study experience in the field of catering, a delegation of the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Minister A.V. Shin held a meeting with the leadership of ANO “Institute of Industrial Nutrition”.
The aim of the visit was discussing the prospects of cooperation in the following areas: revising hygiene requirements for catering, revising nutritional standards, developing standard menus and recipes books, developing a system for planning and analyzing food purchases, including h taking into account the capabilities of the agro-industrial complex, the development of a multilevel system of training and advanced training of personnel, the development of recommendations for the design and equipment of catering units, the introduction of modern cooking technologies, through food plants and food industry enterprises.
Considering the tasks of the Ministry to radically improve the catering system in preschool educational institutions, enshrined in the Concept for the Development of the Preschool Education System until 2030, as well as the discussion on healthy nutrition organization held in the Senate in December 2019, the delegation of the Ministry got acquainted and discussed with Russian colleagues issues of food quality control, ensuring legal regulation of the organization of social nutrition, training and professional development staff demonstrations, ensuring the nutritional safety of children, as well as modern forms of catering, as exemplified by food plants serving the social sphere.
The Uzbek delegation outlined the main areas in which the experience of Russian colleagues can be applied.
On 21 January 2020 during the visit, A.V. Shin met with the leadership of the Department of Social Nutrition of St. Petersburg and visited the food factory “Trading House A.P. Ivanov”, a special testing laboratory and a training center at the Office of Social Food.
