Weightlifter Ruslan Nurudinov won the Asian Games with a total score of 421 kg and won a gold medal. He lifted 191 kg in snatch and 227 kg in clean and jerk.
Omas Otakuziyeva became the silver medalist of the Asian Games. She lifted 232 kg in total: 101 kg in a snatch and 131 kg in clean and jerk.
A representative of Uzbekistan Barno Mirzaeva won a bronze medal in karate competition, defeating Arm Sukkiau (Thailand) with a score of 2:1.
