Hasanboy Dusmatov Signs Deal With Premier Boxing Academy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Two-time Olympic boxing champion Hasanboy Dusmatov of Uzbekistan has signed a contract with the Russian management company Premier Boxing Academy, positioning the 32-year-old fighter for an upcoming appearance on the IBA.Pro circuit.
The professional management agreement was announced by Premier Boxing Academy in a official statement introducing Dusmatov as its newest signing, highlighting his extensive credentials in amateur boxing.
Premier Boxing Academy called Dusmatov a legend of Uzbek boxing, noting that the two-time Olympic gold medalist and Val Barker Trophy winner brings a formidable track record to the firm. The management company pointed to his background as a two-time Olympic champion, world champion, and three-time Asian champion.
The Uzbek fighter remains undefeated in the professional ranks with a record of seven wins, no losses, and five knockouts across seven career bouts.
His broader amateur record includes two Olympic gold medals, a world championship title, three Asian championship victories, and a gold medal at the 2022 Asian Games.
Following the contract signing, Dusmatov is slated to compete in an IBA.Pro tournament expected to take place in October or November. Specific details regarding the precise date, opponent, and venue for the fight were not disclosed in the statement.
