Uzbekistan’s Narzilloeva wins silver at world championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Mukhayyo Narzilloeva won a silver medal at the U20 World Wrestling Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia, the Uzbek Olympic Committee’s press service said.

Narzilloeva finished second in the women’s 65kg weight category to secure a place on the podium.

Uzbekistan’s Ulbike Karlibaeva will continue her campaign at the tournament on 21 August. She will compete for a bronze medal in the 57kg category. Her opponent will be the winner of the bout between Hungary’s Liliana Kapuvari and Azerbaijan’s Hünay Hurbanova.

Three other Uzbek wrestlers will also compete in the qualifying stage of the freestyle wrestling competition on 21 August.
