Uzbekistan Boxing Team Begins Training Camp in Japan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s national boxing team has traveled to Japan for the final stage of preparations for the upcoming Asian Games, the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation said.
Ahead of the competition, Uzbek boxers will hold an international joint training camp at a sports facility in Nishio. The first stage of the camp runs from 2 to 9 September, while the second is scheduled for 9–16 September.
During the final stage of preparations, the team will continue training under the coaching staff. One of the main objectives of the camp is to help the boxers adapt to the conditions in which the upcoming competition will be held.
The team traveling to Japan includes Samandar Olimov, Asilbek Jalilov, Faryozbek Dustmatov, Abdumalik Khalokov, Sanjarbek Vakhobov, Abdurakhmon Makhmudjonov, Dilshod Abdumurodov, Ilkhomjon Ergashev, Shavkatjon Boltaev, Abdulloh Madaminov, Fazliddin Erkinboev, Nurlislam Ismoilov, Norbek Abdullaev, Turabek Khabibullaev, Akmaljon Isroilov, Khalimjon Mamasoliev, Arman Makhanov and Jakhongir Zokirov.
Tulkin Kilichev is the head coach of the national team.
The coaching staff includes Juan Enrique Steiners, Rakhmatjon Ruziokhunov, Akmal Khasanov, Davron Gafurov, Nodir Gulomov, Alimardon Dostov, Sherzodbek Akhmadjonov, Botir Makhmudov, Dmitry Sinitsky and Javlon Eshmatov.
The national team’s medical support is provided by doctor Komiljon Rasulov and physiotherapist Jesus Alberto.
